Our Story:
Almost 40 Acres is a nature-driven venture dedicated to cultivating rare and regionally significant native plants on our (almost) 40-acre property in the Gympie region, Queensland, Australia. We're passionate about biodiversity, ecological restoration, and creating a sustainable future—starting from the ground up.
Currently in our development phase, we’re establishing growing zones, nurturing seedlings, and preparing for future sales to landscapers, conservationists, and native plant enthusiasts. Every plant is cared for with intention, and every acre reflects our commitment to preserving Queensland’s botanical heritage.
At Almost 40 Acres, we’re building something rooted in care, curiosity, and conservation. Our (nearly) 40-acre property is home to a growing collection of rare and regionally significant native plants. We’re not just cultivating flora—we’re cultivating a future where biodiversity thrives and local ecosystems are celebrated.
As a new venture (a business name of Tomliw Pty Ltd), we’re in the early stages of development: establishing growing zones, nurturing seedlings, and learning from the land. Our team is small but passionate, with hands-on care provided daily to ensure every plant has the best chance to flourish.
Whether you're a landscaper, conservationist, or simply someone who loves native beauty, we’re excited to grow with you.
Stay tuned as we grow—literally and figuratively.
Our Vision:
To restore and celebrate Queensland’s native plant heritage—one rare species at a time.
We envision a future where rare local flora is not only preserved but also accessible, appreciated, and integrated into everyday landscapes. Through sustainable cultivation, education, and community connection, Almost 40 Acres aims to become a trusted source for native plants and a quiet champion of biodiversity.
